Why did I want to read it?

I felt that I was seeing the transformation of a company into one closely resembling the one that is depicted here. Was there a way to avoid it?

What did I get out of it?

It was quite boring at times. I appreciate the effort of trying to tell a story instead of a typical (and sometimes dry) management book (and this works for me, for example, in ๐Ÿ—ž๏ธ Building a data team at a a mid-stage startup. A short story)โ€ฆ but maybe I didnยดt have the patience to enjoy this. Also, I think the advice here is pretty commonplace nowadays.
